So about a month ago, we went to St. James United here in Montréal, thanks to my pal Joel Peters who's co-musical director there, and we recorded my setting of the Alma Redemptoris Mater for mezzo and organ trio (which does not in fact mean three organs, rather disappointingly). Young mezzo Serina Itri sang, and my other pal Adrian Foster played the organ and took care of everything else. It was lovely finally hearing that one, and I thank everyone involved from the bottom of my heart.
